Sociology and Psychology Tutor

Psychology Tutor:

Based within the borough of Kensington and Chelsea, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Sociology and Psychology Tutor to support an incredibly dedicated and intelligent KS5 student with ASD and learning difficulties. This role has an immediate start and is for 52 weeks per year (with four weeks annual leave included). The successful candidate will be required to plan and deliver for Sociology and psychology for this young person who is completing their A-levels.

Sociology and Psychology Tutor specifics:

Hours: 14 hours per week (Term Time)
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: 30 per hour

About the Sociology and Psychology Tutor role:

• Provide one-to-one tuition for Psychology and sociology
• Plan and deliver personalised lessons tailored to the student's individual needs, interests, and learning style.
• The Sociology and Psychology Tutor will need to adapt resources to suit the student

• Build a trusting relationship that encourages engagement

• Located in Kensington and Chelsea

Based in Kensington and Chelsea, The student has various complex needs, meaning the learning should be a supportive and tailored approach to the student.

Sociology and Psychology Tutor requirements:

• Experience in SEN, tutoring, or teaching (particularly with autism).

• Good understanding of the subject and how to teach it

• QTS or equivalent

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
