After School Nanny
• School pick-ups, homework, sometimes dinner and bedtime.
• Supervise and monitor children's safety at all times.
• Ensure children are following routines, supervise and encourage when needed
• Plan and engage in educational and recreational activities that promote learning and development, as agreed and planned
• Coordinate playdates, outings, and trips to the park, library, or other educational places.
• Assist with schoolwork and ensure children complete homework assignments (if applicable).
• Perform housekeeping tasks related to the children: put clothes to wash, and keeping bedroom and shower room tidy (used only by the children).
• General light housekeeping: help keep things tidy when child duties allow it
• Ensure the children’s schedule is followed.
• Report any concerns or issues to the parents promptly.
• Maintain an open and communicative relationship with the parents about the children’s progress and any needs they may have.
• Ensuring the children’s emotional and physical well-being is always a top priority. Qualifications:
• Previous experience in childcare, with references.
• First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Ability to plan age-appropriate activities and engage children in a fun, creative way.
• A nurturing, caring, and patient personality.
• Clean DBS.
• Fluency in English required, French is a plus. Others:
• Potential for additional hours during holidays and babysitting.
