Data & Impact Manager
Data & Impact Manager
Application Closing date 15th June
Start date As soon as possible
What we’re looking for
Someone who is excited to lead a data-driven approach to expand our reach and impact. You will perform analysis, build intuitive dashboards, and champion evidence-based decisions across every team. You will refine and design new methods to evaluate our impact. You will create actionable insights to evolve our programme and help every child with the head and heart for maths, realise the potential of their power.
We are a small team with big ambitions, who are in a phase of substantial growth. You should be excited about working in a start-up environment where things can change quickly but where you have the opportunity to have a tremendous impact. We exist to serve pupils from backgrounds that are under-represented in university mathematics, and believe that we do this better when our team includes people who are from these backgrounds themselves. If you consider yourself to be from a background where progressing to university mathematics is not the norm then we strongly encourage you to apply.
About Axiom Maths
Axiom Maths is a charity focusing on helping every child with the heart and head for maths realise the potential of their power. Half of the disadvantaged children who are high attainers in maths at eleven are no longer high attainers by age sixteen. That is a huge loss of human potential that affects both those children as individuals and us as a wider society. We are focused on stopping that loss.
We do this by identifying children with mathematical potential, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, and guiding them along a path to mathematical excellence. We take a dual-pronged approach: Providing a programme to improve their experience of maths, and tackling harmful societal views that stop children from feeling like maths is for them. We're looking for team members who will bring the best of themselves to Axiom Maths, and the best of Axiom Maths to the wider system. We champion innovation and our employees are empowered to implement new ideas without barriers. We are a small team, and we place a big focus on open communication, collaboration and supporting one another. If you are passionate about our mission we strongly encourage you to apply, especially if you consider yourself to be from a background where progressing to university mathematics is not the norm.About this role
