About the Role

We are supporting a global logistics organisation in the appointment of an experienced Interim HR Consultant to establish a brand-new HR function from the ground up. This is a high-impact interim role, ideal for someone who has successfully built HR frameworks, processes, and operating models within complex, international environments.Based in Hounslow , the role will work closely with Group HR in the Netherlands, ensuring alignment with global strategy while tailoring solutions to the UK business. Regular travel will be required to sites in the Midlands and potentially Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement a fully functioning HR framework from scratch, including policies, processes, and governanceAct as a trusted HR partner to senior leaders and operational management across the UKCollaborate closely with Group HR (Netherlands) to ensure consistency with global HR standards and initiativesEstablish and embed core HR processes such as:Employee relations and case managementPerformance management frameworksOrganisational design and role architectureTalent, succession, and workforce planningAdvise leaders on employment law, best practice, and change managementSupport and influence stakeholders across multiple locations and culturesProvide hands-on HR support while also operating strategicallyPrepare the business for a scalable, sustainable HR model for the future

About You

Proven experience setting up an HR function from scratch within a medium to large organisationStrong background operating as an HR Consultant or Interim HR LeaderExperience working in global or matrixed organisations, partnering with international HR teamsConfident influencing senior leaders and managing diverse stakeholders across geographiesPragmatic, delivery-focused, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environmentsWilling and able to travel across the UK as required
