Are you an experienced and dynamic leader with a passion for driving excellence in facilities management? We are seeking an Account Director to oversee a key contract in London and the South, ensuring outstanding operational delivery, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
Role Overview: As an Account Director, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership and strategic direction across several key contracts. Your primary goal will be to ensure contractual commitments are met and exceeded, fostering strong client relationships, and identifying opportunities for growth and increased profitability. You will champion health and safety, optimise staffing structures, and develop high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple facilities management contracts, ensuring operational excellence and financial targets are consistently achieved or surpassed.
- Cultivate and maintain exceptional relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and service delivery is of the highest standard.
- Identify and exploit opportunities for strategic growth, including expanding services, securing additional projects, and successfully re-winning contracts.
- Implement and communicate business policies and processes effectively across all contracts.
- Ensure rigorous health and safety standards are upheld for both clients and company personnel, conducting regular reviews.
- Optimise staffing structures for efficiency and service quality, supporting team development, competence, and succession planning.
- Develop and manage contract financial plans, focusing on revenue, profit, cost reduction, and debt management.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to contract teams, promoting best practises in selection, training, and performance management.
- Actively participate in business development by supporting solution development, presentations, and new contract mobilisations.
- Accountable to the Business Unit Leader and relevant CBRE functional heads.
- Day-to-day accountability to key client contacts.
- Line management responsibility for contract teams and oversight of sub-contractors.
- Financial responsibility for meeting and exceeding plan commitments for assigned contracts.
- Experience:
- Managerial experience at Contract/Account Manager level or above within technical and/or hard services is essential.
- Desirable experience in delivering wider facilities management services.
- Proven track record in team development, appraisal, and effective people management.
