Senior Data Scientist | London | Permanent The company A fast-growing global data and AI consultancy with a strong London team. They help well-known brands in retail, consumer goods, telecoms, automotive and financial services put data science and AI into production. You'll work alongside data scientists, data engineers and business consultants, with a lot of variety from project to project. The role Design and build advanced data science and machine learning solutions to solve complex business problems Own project streams end to end, from defining technical deliverables and timelines to presenting to client leadership Mentor and supervise team members on code quality, deployment and best practice Architect and deploy scalable solutions using modern cloud and MLOps practices What you'll need A degree in Computer Science, Maths, Statistics, Physics, Engineering or a similar quantitative subject Experience leading people and delivery: supervising others, defining technical tasks and presenting to stakeholders Hands-on experience with a range of models, such as time-series forecasting, gradient boosting, clustering, NLP and Bayesian methods Strong MLOps: orchestration, experiment tracking, hyperparameter tuning and automated retraining pipelines Object-oriented Python, Polars or PySpark, and data versioning (e.g. DVC), plus experience designing data storage Hands-on experience with at least two of AWS, Azure and GCP, including deployment, managed databases and Terraform A solid grasp of CI/CD, testing and containerisation Nice to have A Master's or PhD Experience with parallel processing frameworks such as PySpark or Ray Serverless deployments (e.g. Fargate, Lambda) and infrastructure automation with tools like Terratest or Ansible What's on offer Salary: Up to £113,000 Hybrid working from London Client-facing work across a wide range of industries, with a clear path to lead and principal roles We Are Dcoded is acting as an employment agency in relation to this permanent vacancy.
