Our client is a Top 50 UK accountancy firm renowned for its innovative and high-quality private client tax and advisory services . Their clients range from high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs to international groups and family offices , offering variety, challenge, and the chance to build lasting relationships with exceptional clients.

The Opportunity

As a Personal Tax Manager , you'll play a key role in delivering a blend of advisory and compliance work for a diverse portfolio of private clients.
You'll manage complex cases involving residence and domicile , inheritance tax , and capital gains tax planning , while providing clear, commercial advice that makes a real difference.

You'll also have the opportunity to lead client relationships , mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth and success of the Private Client team - all within a collaborative environment that prioritises flexibility, trust, and development.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and develop your own portfolio of private clients.

• Deliver high-quality personal tax compliance and advisory work.

• Lead on IHT, CGT, and residence/domicile projects.

• Review work prepared by junior team members and provide constructive feedback.

• Plan and oversee assignments, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

• Support Partners with proposals, presentations , and client development.

• Keep abreast of evolving legislation and identify opportunities for clients.

About You

You're a confident, client-focused tax professional who enjoys solving complex problems and building trusted relationships.

You'll ideally bring:

• CTA qualification with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience.

• Solid experience in both compliance and advisory for private clients.

• Proven ability to manage your own client portfolio.

• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach.

• Strong technical understanding of UK personal tax matters, particularly for SMEs, entrepreneurs, and HNW individuals .
