Premises Site Manager
A vibrant Primary School in the London Borough of Ealing is seeking a professional and highly organised Premises Site Manager to join their experienced support and operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-structured and supportive school environment where site leaders play an essential role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for young pupils.
The successful candidate will take operational responsibility for the primary site and assist senior leaders, the school business manager, and wider school teams. Responsibilities will include managing routine building maintenance, keeping accurate compliance logs, conducting statutory health and safety tests (including legionella, fire alarms, and emergency lighting), managing waste disposal systems, and overseeing keyholder security and locking/unlocking schedules.
You will also manage communication with external maintenance contractors and school visitors while ensuring that information is handled professionally and safely at all times. Strong organisational skills are essential, as the role requires the ability to prioritise reactive maintenance tasks effectively within a busy school environment.
The school is looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and able to guide site procedures safely and efficiently. Good practical DIY skills, general IT competence for logging maintenance metrics, and confidence operating hand tools are important, alongside strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing school community where site staff are highly valued and staff wellbeing and professional training are prioritised.
