This role is vital in ensuring a first class building maintenance service within the hospital and satellite sites, covering reactive, project and scheduled maintenance work. What you'll do: To carry out plumbing duties and Mechanical plant PPMS e.g. AHU s, Spilt Units, Fan Coils, Compressors. Support with cross discipline PPMs as required water safety PPMs, Patient room PPM's To work on planned preventive maintenance schedules, in line with departmental goals and objectives. To respond to emergency maintenance and reactive maintenance as requested To prioritise work requests and carry them out efficiently To supervise external contractors as directed by the Chief Engineer To carry out all work in adherence to Health and Safety and COSHH polices and guidelines. To document all work accurately To assist in projects as required What you'll bring: Qualified in relevant discipline e.g. City & Guilds or NVQ plumbing/ mechanical, or an engineering building services qualification Previous experience within a Hospital or similar organisation Health and Safety, COSHH General knowledge of Fire regulations Excellent customer care and communication skills Must have a flexible approach to work Good verbal and non-verbal communication skillsOriginally founded over 50 years ago by Dr Thomas Frist, HCA has gone on to become one of the world's leading healthcare providers.
