Our gym assistants deliver outstanding hospitality to welcome and look after every visitor to our fitness space to set the tone for a fitness experience that meets the high standards expected of The Ned.

Ned's Club members expect the best facilities and hospitality as part of their membership, including access to our fitness spaces. A 620 square metre space, Ned's Club Gym is exclusively for members and hotel guests and hosts more than 60 classes a week across three studios, plus cardiovascular, strength and training equipment.

Who we are

The Ned and Ned's Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned's Club - a private members' space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.

Reporting into the Gym management team and as a key part of the wider wellness team you will:

• Welcome and look after our members and hotel guests during their visit to the gym
• Handle requests and queries regarding reservations and class bookings
• Host gym inductions, providing an overview of our personal training services and elite gym equipment, alongside encouraging members to book into our sought-after classes
• Build rapport with members over time, learning their preferences and what makes for an amazing experience
• Keep the gym looking and operating at its best at all times

What you can bring to the role:

• A passion and all-round knowledge of fitness is an absolute must for this role
• Rapport building skills are essential for working in our Club spaces, every guest is a loyal member or a potential new member, so every interaction is crucial
• As the smiling face that greets every member and hotel guest to our gym spaces, you'll have a bright personality and genuine warmth with a passion for outstanding hospitality
• In any of our Club spaces you may be looking after high-profile people who value their privacy, so a degree of confidentiality is non-negotiable
• Ambition to develop is welcomed but not essential, this role offers the potential to develop into a PT in the future
