Our client is a well-known managed services software house with offices globally. They are well known and work with over 100 FTSE businesses.

The business is looking to expand further internationally at present and has an ever growing client list.

The Application Support role has come around due to an expansion and strategic change, the Support Analyst will report in to the head of support and client management. This role offers the ability to move towards product management as well as platform ownership or business analysis within a short space of time.

The Support Analyst will be involved in:

• Support clients and processing of support emails.
• Training and Pre Sales
• Client Management
• Investigating and resolving queries where possible this could be data analysis, application issues or database related
• Testing new software functionality developed and assisting the quality assurance process.
• Account Management

This role allows rapid promotion to senior support and implementation roles as well as professional services.

I am looking for a client-facing and ambitious analyst with the skills in excel and SQL. The right Application Support Engineer will have the drive and focus to make a significant contribution to the delivery of products and services to a growing client base. They will have the opportunity to work in a friendly, collaborative environment on advanced projects that are important to clients and their businesses.

The Support Analyst must have:

• Ideally a Degree in a science based subject ideally
• Demonstrable problem solving
• Experience of Development or Application Support
• Excel
• Interest and skills in Data Manipulation
• Ideally a background in support or client management
• SQL – good tech skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
