We are looking for an Apprentice Business Partner to join the Learning and Development(L&D) team to support the delivery of (L&D) activities while developing core knowledge and practical skills. You will assist with data reporting, training coordination, system support and apprenticeship course work as part of your own learning and contribute to the smooth running of L&D operations.
Excelcare is a family-owned Care Home group established for over 34 years. We provide the highest standards of care to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues. By joining us you will become one of the 'family' and in return for your dedication and hard work you can expect:
- Salary: from £18,000 to £25,000 depending on age (If under 18 salary is £18,000, if over 18 but under 21 salary is £21,000 and if over 21 salary is £25,000).
- Hours: 9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
- This is an onsite role based at our Support Office in Bromley, Kent
- We can offer an 18-24 month apprenticeship including 8 weeks to complete your End Point Assessment EPA with the possibility of a full-time permanent position on successful completion
About you:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (or willingness to work towards these if not already achieved)
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to take feedback and develop skills
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to learning
- Basic understanding of what Learning & Development involves (or willingness to learn)
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Additional qualifications in IT or Business Administration are desired, and some exposure to office or administrative tasks
- Interest in HR or Learning & Development as a career path
About the Learning & Development Apprentice Business Partner:
The role aims to build understanding of adult learning principles, organisational training processes, and compliance requirements, while developing confidence in using data and managing priorities. It supports progression towards a recognised qualification and growth as a capable L&D professional.
