Data Executive (CRM)

EMJ
London

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Data Executive to join our team and support the management and quality of our CRM (HubSpot). This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop hands-on experience with CRM data operations and gain exposure to key data workflows that power our campaigns and business insights.

In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the health, accuracy, and usability of our database. You will work closely with the Marketing team to ensure reliable data underpins all our activity and supports effective decision-making.

What you'll do :

  • Preparing, cleaning and maintaining data in our CRM (HubSpot), ensuring it is accurate and up to date.

  • Building and updating targeted lists for internal use, campaigns, and reporting.

  • Managing data imports and exports, ensuring consistency and correctness at every step.

  • Helping to create clear, easy-to-use CRM views and dashboards to support team workflows.

  • Ensuring correct and consistent data input across processes and fields.

  • Monitoring data quality (for example duplicates, missing fields, inconsistent formats) and carrying out regular data hygiene tasks.

  • Supporting campaign activity with timely data pulls, selections, and updates.

Who you are:

  • A recent graduate or early-career professional with some office experience.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data tables, filtering, sorting, and basic analysis.

  • Interested in understanding what makes a healthy database and how to measure data quality.

  • Curious, organised, and keen to learn CRM systems (HubSpot and other tools).

  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a team and communicating data needs clearly.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Recent degree (any discipline) with demonstrable experience using Excel and analysing data.

  • An understanding of database health concepts and basic metrics.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • You do not need a marketing background to succeed in this role; training and development will be provided.

Key Information:

  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

  • Reports to: Head of Marketing

  • Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Monday-Friday

  • Working pattern: Up to 2 days flexibility to work from home (5 days a week in the office during probation)

  • Location: This role is based in our London/Moorgate office

We offer a hybrid work environment, balancing office and remote work. To support your training and development during your initial three-month probation, this period will be fully office-based, five days a week. Following this, we anticipate a regular office presence of at least three days a week to maintain collaboration and team connection.
