This is a rare chance to work closely with all Partners on high-profile, intellectually stimulating matters spanning employment litigation and strategic advisory work.
You’ll gain exceptional exposure to market-leading clients and career-enhancing work across diverse sectors, providing a platform to significantly advance your professional development.
About the Team
The Employment team advises prestigious clients across private and public sectors on their most complex and sensitive employment matters. You’ll work on high-value cross-border projects, executive-level appointments and separations, precedent-setting litigation, complex workforce restructuring, outsourcing arrangements, benefits and incentives programs, trade secret protection, and equality and diversity initiatives.
The London team comprises several highly-regarded Partners and a strong team of lawyers, supported by professional support resources, forming part of an international employment group spanning EMEA and APAC.
What You’ll Do
- Work alongside Partners on high-profile employment matters, including sophisticated Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation.
- Provide strategic advice on business-critical employment issues.
- Take a leading role in coordinating complex cross-border projects, including large-scale restructurings and multinational compliance initiatives.
- Manage your own caseload with full support, gaining exceptional client exposure and opportunities to build key relationships.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and grow your professional reputation within the market.
Your Profile & Expertise
We are looking for candidates with:
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Solid legal training in a City or international law firm.
- Experience handling complex employment matters, including advisory work, litigation, transactional matters, and, ideally, restrictive covenant injunctions.
- A pragmatic, commercially astute approach aligned with client objectives.
- A desire to work in a truly international environment.
What Sets Our Top Performers Apart
- Flexibility and experience across a broad range of employment issues.
- Ability to manage complex matters and clients, with strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent technical knowledge and drafting skills, delivering clear, practical advice.
- Initiative, confidence, and a track record of achievement.
- Effective collaboration with colleagues across disciplines and jurisdictions.
- Supervisory and delegation skills.
- Commitment to business development and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Continuous professional development and contribution to team know-how and training.
- Excellent communication and client-handling abilities.
Why This Role?
