School Receptionist Role in a Secondary School

A welcoming secondary school in Hounslow is seeking to appoint a School Receptionist to join its administration team. This is a full-time role within a busy school environment that values organisation, professionalism, and excellent communication.

The reception team plays a key role in ensuring the smooth daily running of the school, acting as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors.

You will be responsible for providing a professional and friendly front-of-house service, supporting the wider school administration team and ensuring effective communication across the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails

  • Manage visitor sign-in procedures and safeguarding protocols

  • Support student attendance recording and monitoring

  • Assist with general administrative tasks as required

  • Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area

  • Liaise with staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
