Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as an SEN TA will include:

• Delivering personalised support to pupils with SEN to enable access to lessons and activities

• Supporting pupils to achieve academic, social, and emotional development goals

• Collaborating with class teachers to adapt lesson plans, resources, and teaching strategies

• Implementing strategies outlined in EHCPs, behaviour plans, and individual support plans

• Supporting pupils’ emotional regulation, behaviour, and social skills development

• Encouraging positive peer interactions and communication skills

• Assisting with transitions between lessons, playground supervision, and lunchtimes

• Observing, recording, and reporting pupil progress and behaviour

• Providing feedback to teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists
