Casualty Technician
A London Market insurance broker is seeking a Casualty Technician to provide high-quality technical and premium processing support to its Casualty Broking team.
The role will focus on supporting the placement and servicing of US Casualty risks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and delivery of a high standard of service to both clients and insurers.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport brokers in the placement and servicing of US Casualty risks, including General Liability, Excess Casualty and related lines.
Prepare, process, and issue insurance documentation including Quotations, MRCs, Endorsements, Debit Notes, and Credit Notes.
Ensure all documentation complies with FCA, internal, and London Market requirements.
Process premiums, APs and RPs in line with agreed terms and market procedures.
Liaise with clients, insurers, and finance teams to resolve premium and accounting queries.
Assist with the production and processing of bordereaux where applicable.
Maintain accurate records of placements, premiums, and bordereaux.
Support compliance requirements under the AR framework and internal standards.
Assist with reporting and data analysis to support management and board updates.
Prior experience as a Casualty Technician within the London Market.
Understanding of US Casualty wordings, or a strong willingness to develop technical expertise.
Familiarity with London Market processes and documentation.
Experience using broking systems (e.g. Whitespace or similar platforms).
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Proactive, collaborative team player with high professional standards and integrity.
