Early Years Nursery Practitioner - Level 2/3 Qualified - ASAP Start in Enfield
This family-run supportive nursery in Enfield is looking to appoint an Early Years Nursery Practitioner to start ASAP!
This is a lovely nursery in a great location - with a private outdoor space as well as trips to local parks, specialist and sensory rooms, and a positive and energetic learning environment! It's easy to reach thanks to the great transport links, staff parking and cycle to work scheme.
Joining a team of friendly, hardworking and likeminded staff, you will be working at an excellent nursery, supported by a management team who really care about their staff and offer various incentives such as performance bonuses paid throughout the year. This is a permanent Nursery Practitioner role, with a salary from £24k to £28k per annum.
It is essential for the successful Nursery Practitioner to hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
As an Early Years Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Have previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting with children under 5
- Support children with their personal, social and emotional development
- Assist with early reading, vocabulary and literacy, and early maths skills development, following the EYFS curriculum
- Encourage development through interactive play and exploration, including child-led learning
- Help children to build on their social skills and develop positive relationships from an early age
- Provide a supportive, stimulating and language rich environment where every child can thrive
- Be able to work in a team collaboratively
- Have great knowledge of early childhood development and display strong communication skills
