Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope
- Innovation Leader: Instructing Design Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only.
- Materials Maven: Driving high attainment by cultivating strong practical workshop skills, technical drawing, and material knowledge.
- Workshop Manager: Overseeing workshop safety, managing equipment, and preparing resources for practical lessons.
Compensation & Benefits
- Essential Requirements: Hold or be soon to obtain QTS. Relevant Degree in Design Technology or related field.
- Salary: Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS).
- Support: Robust ECT induction program, excellent workshop facilities, and dedicated time for curriculum planning.
