A lovely family based in Bexley are seeking an experienced part time nanny to care for their 9-month-old baby. This is a wonderful opportunity for a warm, nurturing and reliable candidate who is confident caring for babies and enjoys supporting their development and daily routine.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for babies of a similar age and be confident with feeding, changing, naps and age-appropriate activities. They should be attentive, organised and able to follow the family’s routine while using their own initiative. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

providing attentive and nurturing care for the baby
supporting the baby’s daily routine
preparing and giving bottles and age-appropriate meals
changing nappies and dressing the baby
settling the baby for naps and maintaining a consistent sleep routine
organising age-appropriate play and activities
supporting the baby’s physical and cognitive development
taking the baby for walks and outdoor activities
attending baby groups and local activities when appropriate
keeping the baby’s nursery and play areas tidy
washing and sterilising bottles and feeding equipment
washing and organising the baby’s laundry
keeping the baby’s clothing and belongings organised
preparing simple meals and snacks when required
running occasional baby-related errands
ensuring the baby is happy, safe and well cared for at all times

Requirements:

Paediatric First Aid
Enhanced DBS check
UK work permit
