Company Overview:
We’re representing a well-established MEP contractor based in Mitcham, South London, who specialise in delivering CAT A/B commercial build projects across London and the South East. With a strong reputation for quality delivery and long-standing client relationships, the business continues to grow and is now seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their management team.

Role Overview:
As the Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple mechanical projects ranging in value from £100,000 to £5,000,000. You’ll act as the project lead across several sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the management and delivery of multiple CAT A/B commercial build projects.

Manage all stages of project delivery – from tender to completion and handover.

*

Lead and coordinate project teams, including site managers, engineers, and subcontractors.

*

Work closely with design, commercial, and procurement teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

*

Maintain project budgets, programmes, and quality standards.

*

Manage client relationships and represent the company at progress and coordination meetings.

*

Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager or Senior Mechanical Project Manager within the MEP or building services industry.

*

Strong background in commercial CAT A/B projects (essential).

*

Experience managing multiple projects concurrently (values up to £5M).

*

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

*

Commercially astute with strong cost and contract management understanding.

*

Based within a commutable distance of Mitcham / South London (essential).

*

Relevant mechanical or building services qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree preferred).
