Are you passionate about safeguarding, wellbeing and supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes?
We are looking for a dedicated Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer to join our Student Support team and play a key role in promoting the safety, wellbeing and success of our learners.
Working closely with the Head of Safeguarding and Wellbeing, you will provide high-quality safeguarding and wellbeing support, managing a caseload of learners and delivering timely interventions for those who may be vulnerable or at risk of harm.
What we're looking for
You will have:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in a related discipline such as social care, mental health or mentoring.
- Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and guidance, including KCSIE and Prevent.
- Experience working with young people and vulnerable adults, particularly those with mental health or wellbeing needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with learners, colleagues and external stakeholders.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people in a diverse learning environment.
Interviews are expected to take place from week commencing 17th of August onwards.
