Nanny-Housekeeper
We are looking for a kind, reliable, full-time live-out Nanny-Housekeeper to join our family, as our wonderful nanny is changing careers after graduating university.
Our eldest is in nursery five days per week during term time, and our youngest will start half days in February. This role is a hybrid of childcare and housekeeping – with a focus on our newborn during nursery hours, and general family support in the afternoons and evenings.
We’d love to find someone who can become a part of our family – someone who enjoys spending time with children, takes pride in keeping a home organised and running smoothly, and is proactive in helping where needed, especially in supporting mum post-birth and helping her balance her time with the older boys post nursery pick up. Key Responsibilities:
-Provide attentive, loving care for our children
-Sole charge care for our newborn several hours per day (feeding, changing, settling, playing, etc.) while older children are at nursery
-Assist with nursery/school drop-offs and pick-ups when needed
-Support with the afternoon routine for the older children: snacks, play, bath, and dinner
-Keep children’s and communal areas tidy and organised (toys, clothes, etc.)
-Maintain a nurturing, calm, and engaging atmosphere for the children
-Support homework and playtime with creativity and enthusiasm
-Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for the children, and simple dinners for the family (the parents usually eat together or have leftovers)
-General housekeeping: cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, and keeping the home well-organised
-Help with occasional household errands Requirements
-Proven experience as a nanny-housekeeper (including newborn/infant care) with checkable references
-Confident caring for babies, toddlers, and school-age children
-Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
-Energetic, positive, and proactive — someone who enjoys being busy and active
-Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work independently
-Excellent communication skills and fluent English (additional languages a plus)
-Up-to-date DBS check and paediatric first aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Details
-Location: Central London, Kensington W8
-Schedule: Monday–Friday, approx. 8:00am–6:30pm (some flexibility required)
-Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (£££, negotiable for the right candidate)
-Start date: Late October 2025 (earlier or later start possible) What We Offer
-A warm and welcoming family environment
-Strong family references from previous nannies (one moved away from London; the other has begun a new career after graduating)
-A clear routine and supportive working relationship
-Opportunity for a long-term role that grows as our family does
-Fair, competitive pay based on experience
-Paid holidays and pension contributions If you are a caring, organised, and dependable professional looking for a long-term role with a loving family, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply with your CV, references, and a short note about why you’d be a great fit
