Sian Fishwick, Marketing Director, Technology About the Team Industry Services and Solutions (ISS) Marketing supports the CTO office and the teams that are delivering crucial services, data, insights, technology development & thought leadership and member engagement. It is a varied team providing both demand- and lead-generation activities for our products, services and membership as well as communications and promotion around key technology and membership priorities. MWC Barcelona is a significant platform through which the ISS Marketing Team can undertake these activities and drive real impact for both the GSMA, and the wider connectivity ecosystem. About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Manager to join our team from mid-October 2025 to March 2026. This role will play a crucial part in driving the planning and execution of MWC Barcelona 2026, and potentially other key events. The successful candidate will assist in various marketing tasks, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient management of marketing assets and event-related activities. About You This role is perfect for an energetic and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about marketing and eager to gain hands-on experience in event planning and execution within the technology sector. You are organised, proactive, a multi-tasker and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and you have a knack for keeping things tidy and efficient, especially when managing digital content and files. Good PowerPoint skills are vital, as you will be dealing with presentations from stakeholders and speakers from across the globe and will prepare these for live broadcast. Your creativity shines through in your ability to create compelling digital banners, write engaging email marketing copy, and make minor video edits, always adhering to brand guidelines. You have a good knowledge of graphic design tools: Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva for creating and editing images, social media graphics, presentations, digital banners, survey tools, and other visual content with ease. You are comfortable navigating content management systems such as WordPress, and have an understanding of social media platforms and campaign management. You have a good knowledge of email marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud) for creating, sending, and analysing email campaigns. Your excellent communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively with various teams, and your can-do attitude ensures you are always ready to tackle new challenges.
