Single Homeless Project has an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join our team based in Camden, Waltham Forest . You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary starting at £36,947.49 and rising incrementally to £39,511.61 per annum.

About the Team Manager role:

For young people who have experienced care, homelessness, trauma or instability, the quality of the adults and services around them can shape what happens next. As a Team Manager in our Young People s Services, you ll help create the consistency, safety and skilled support young people need to build confidence, develop independence and move towards adulthood with greater choice over their future.

We have two Team Manager opportunities available: one at Cecil House in Camden and one at North Birbeck in Waltham Forest . Working closely with the Service(s), and Regional Services Manager, you ll provide day-to-day management and practice leadership across the service, supporting and developing frontline staff while maintaining strong oversight of safeguarding, risk, support planning and the quality of practice. You ll deputise for the Services Manager when required and help make sure young people receive support that is purposeful, individual and rooted in trauma-informed and psychologically informed approaches.

Reflective practice will be an important part of how you lead. You ll create space for staff to think critically about their work, understand the impact of trauma and relationships, learn from challenging situations and strengthen their professional judgement. Alongside this, you ll help maintain high standards across the service, supporting Ofsted readiness, quality assurance and continuous improvement, and working closely with Children s Services, Leaving Care teams and other partners to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.

This is an opportunity to take on a significant management role within our Young People s Services, develop your leadership and regulatory experience and help shape consistently strong practice across the team. You ll be supported by experienced managers and have access to ongoing learning, development and reflective practice to continue growing as a leader.

About you:

• You know how to lead from alongside a team giving people clarity, confidence and challenge while creating the kind of environment where strong practice can actually grow.
• You re confident in complex situations and don t lose sight of the young person behind the risk, behaviour or incident. You can help staff stay curious, think clearly and make proportionate safeguarding decisions.
• You understand trauma-informed and psychologically informed practice, and you can use supervision and reflective practice as real tools for better decision-making, not just as processes to complete.
• You notice when something in a service is drifting, inconsistent or not good enough, and you re comfortable asking why, tightening practice and turning feedback, audits and learning into meaningful improvement.
• You build strong relationships with Children s Services, Leaving Care teams and other partners, can challenge constructively when needed, and keep young people s voices, rights and ambitions at the centre of the work.

• A salary increase after successfully completing six month's probationary period
• A 37.5 hour working week including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am 4pm) in non-accommodation services
