Client Terms Paralegal
- Liaise with lawyers and business services teams to obtain engagement letters and client terms.
- Monitor and chase outstanding documentation across active matters.
- Review incoming correspondence and identify documents requiring filing.
- Request updated client terms where existing documents have expired.
- Check documents for completeness, accuracy and correct execution.
- Review engagement letters for client details, fee arrangements and signatories.
- Identify and escalate non-standard or bespoke client terms.
- Flag unsigned or incomplete documentation to relevant stakeholders.
- Upload and organise documents within the firm's document management system.
- Maintain trackers and registers recording documentation status.
- Apply appropriate document tagging and filing protocols.
- Support periodic audits to ensure engagement documentation is compliant.
- Respond to internal queries from legal and business support teams.
- Liaise with finance teams to ensure matter opening requirements are satisfied.
