Kings Smart Trials Hub (STH)is a globally distinctive multi-omics centre,locatedat Guys Hospital campuswithinResearchInfrastructure, part of Research Management and Innovation Directorateat Kings College London.
The Hub brings togetherstate-of-the-artspatial and non-spatial omics technologies to enable full molecular profiling of cells, tissues and liquid biopsiesandleveragesadvanced, multi-modal technologies to investigate disease biology at high resolution, supporting theequitabledevelopment of personalised therapies.
About the role
The Senior Bioinformaticianis part ofahighly collaborative and inclusive team. The roleleadson developing and optimising analysis pipelinesand integrationfor multi-omic datagenerated frombulk andspatial transcriptomics and proteomics,as well asspatial metabolomic, lipidomic,peptide/proteinandmetallomicmass spectrometry.
The role requiresa strong background instatistical methods and machine-learning toolswithexperience of programming(such asPython)being desirable.
Reporting to the Smart Trials HubManager, you will work closelywith a multidisciplinary teamto deliver ahigh-qualityresearch service to both academic and commercial customers.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered anindefinitecontract. This is an onsite, facility-based role and the post holder is expected to be on campus for the full working week.
