A well-established independent school in Kingston is seeking an experienced and strategic School Business Manager to oversee financial operations, compliance, HR processes, and whole-school administration.
About the Role
Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead on budgeting, financial planning, facilities management, and operational efficiency. This is a key position requiring strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a diverse workload.
Key Duties
Managing school finances, budgeting cycles, and reporting
Overseeing HR, payroll, and recruitment functions
Leading administrative, site, and support teams
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements
Experience in school business management or a related field
Strong financial acumen and familiarity with school operations
Ability to lead staff and work collaboratively across departments
