Registered Veterinary Nurse – South-West London (4-Day Working Week)

Salary: Up to £36,000 per year
A modern, purpose-built small animal practice in South-West London is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN looking to take on a varied and rewarding caseload within a well-equipped practice while enjoying a strong work-life balance.
The practice offers a spacious and modern environment with separate cat and dog areas, multiple consult rooms, surgical theatres, and a dedicated client care team. The successful candidate will benefit from access to advanced diagnostic capabilities and close collaboration with a nearby 24-hour hospital for out-of-hours support.
This role is ideal for a confident and motivated RVN who enjoys a mix of consults, inpatient care, and surgical support. The position offers autonomy within a sole RVN structure, while still being fully supported by a wider network.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care across consultations, inpatient care, and surgical procedures
- Carry out nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities
- Monitor patients and manage admissions and discharges
- Provide excellent client communication and support
- Work collaboratively within a supportive and professional team
- Maintain high standards of regulatory and operational compliance
Candidate Requirements
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse
- Strong commitment to patient and client care
- Confident working both independently and as part of a wider team
- Enthusiastic approach to development and learning
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
