Work alongside a huge range of unique and inquisitive minds as you prepare the world of Audit for the digital takeover. Embark on a career journey you can own and shape with confidence.

As a member of our team, you’ll experience the EY digital audit. And you’ll get hands-on face-to-face exposure to big clients and the unique challenges they face. We’re the only firm that gives you this kind of tech-first, client-facing approach to audit – and on such a global scale. This is your opportunity to give businesses, from start-ups to governments, confidence in how they manage their accounts. One day, you could be on site with a client, building key relationships, the next, you could be crafting long-lasting business strategies. It’s a dynamic programme that prepares you for your future. And enables you to sit at the very cutting edge of business – helping us build a better world as you build a varied career.

What you can expect:

This one-year programme allows you to gain hands-on paid work as you kick-start your study towards becoming a Chartered Accountant.

As an Audit Industrial Placement student, you will:

  • Get to know our clients, their businesses and how they work.
  • Test checks and balances to ensure they work how they’re supposed to.
  • Analyse the data that goes into a financial statement to make sure it is true and fair.
  • Develop core skills in business writing, effective time management, client service and personal brand through structured learning and self-directed learning.
  • Use hybrid working to spend time on client sites, in the office and at home
  • Have a dedicated careers counsellor throughout the programme to help you during busier seasons, development and learning

You’ll be learning on-the-job and will be given access to regular training opportunities. Plus, your experience doesn't stop once you've completed the programme - you may be offered a place on the Audit Graduate Programme to continue your career development.

What’s in it for you:

  • Accelerate your technical capabilities and transformative leadership skills with future-focused courses and development programmes.
  • Broaden your horizons by working on highly integrated teams across the globe and collaborate with people of diverse backgrounds — both professionally and culturally.
  • Bring out the best in yourself with continuous investment in your personal well-being and career development.
  • Develop your own personal purpose and help us create a positive ripple effect on our teams, our business, clients and society.

Here at EY, you’ll have the chance to build a truly exceptional experience. We’ll empower you with the latest technology, surround you with high-performing teams, and provide the global scale and diverse and inclusive culture you need to discover your full potential. Through our coaching and training programmes, you’ll develop the skills you need to stay relevant today and, in the future – all while building a network of colleagues, mentors, and leaders who will be on the journey with you at EY and beyond.
