Digital Designer in London Area
Job description
An award-winning independent creative agency, established for over 20 years. The team works with ambitious clients from global organisations to progressive start-ups, delivering strategic consultancy, branding, design, content and digital experiences that drive real impact.
Initially founded as a branding and design agency, over recent years they’ve focussed more so on digital, specifically for corporate, B2B clients but across a variety of sectors, including bio-tech, financial, pharma, real-estate and more.
They’re now at a point where approx. 85% of the work they do with clients is digital. Despite the economic downturn, they’ve had a lot of continued success with clients, pushing into new areas and going through small but stable growth periods.
Approx. 30 people strong (includes digital designers and developers).
They ask for people in the office twice a week – anchor days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but these could change depending on when a client might need to do a workshop, for example.
Sponsorship is not available.
£50,000 - £60,000 annual salary.
THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has grown their digital design career in an agency environment and now wants to take the next step – combining hands-on design work with greater ownership, influence, and the chance to mentor junior designers.
You’ll be working closely with UX/UI, development, consulting and client service teams, designing websites, campaigns and digital marketing communications for clients ranging from independent businesses to global organisations.
What you’ll do;
- Lead digital design projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring quality and consistency across all outputs.
- Create impactful, user-focused design for websites, campaigns and brand-led digital communications.
- Contribute actively at all stages of a project: from briefing and concepting, through to design implementation and launch.
- Present ideas confidently to both internal teams and clients, communicating design thinking clearly.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while also being comfortable taking ownership of independent tasks.
THE CANDIDATE
Looking for someone whose pushed passed the generic cookie-cutter style and able to showcase some real individual craft within their portfolio.
In addition, you’ll need;
- Experience: 3–6+ years in digital design, ideally in an agency setting, working on B2B/corporate projects.
- Tools: Strong skills in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). Knowledge of AfterEffects is a bonus.
- Design craft: Excellent grasp of typography, layout, hierarchy, brand and proportion – with the ability to apply these across responsive web and digital channels.
If this sounds like you, then please apply ASAP with your CV & PORTFOLIO , to stand the best chance of getting an interview!
