The Fire Engineer will collaborate with various teams to deliver effective fire safety solutions that protect lives and property.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, alarms, and emergency lighting.
• Build and assemble components using hand tools and power tools.
• Interpret and create electrical schematics for fire safety systems.
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate fire risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors to integrate fire safety measures into building designs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.
• Provide technical support during the installation of fire protection systems.
• Conduct system testing and inspections to ensure functionality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex system designs.
• Proficiency in CAD software for designing fire protection layouts.
• Experience working with hand tools and power tools in a construction or engineering environment.
• Familiarity with electrical systems related to fire safety applications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and engineering drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
