Job Description:
The Priory Group at the Royal Preston Hospital is seeking a temporary Dietitian, classified at Band 6/7, to provide specialized dietary and nutritional services for patients with eating disorders. This role requires an immediate start and is an ongoing position with a commitment of 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to in this Dietetics role?
- Providing dietetic consultations and interventions for patients with eating disorders.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and outcomes.
- Adhering to professional and facility standards and protocols.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian with experience in eating disorders.
- Proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and treating dietary and nutritional problems at an individual level.
- Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate dietetic treatment plans.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients and healthcare teams.
- Knowledge of the latest dietetics research and best practices in the field of eating disorders.
- Capable of working autonomously in a clinical setting.
