We are seeking a Band 6 Locum Dietitian with a specialization in Oncology to join our team in London. This role involves providing dietetic services to both inpatients and outpatients, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic healthcare setting. The position is available from the 18th of November and is offered on an ongoing contract basis.
Responsibilities :
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of dietetic care to oncology patients. This includes conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing dietary counseling and education to patients and their families. You will also monitor and review patient progress, adjust care plans as necessary, and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
Qualifications and Experience :
- HCPC registered Dietitian
- Previous experience in oncology dietetics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
