Executive Assistant to Founder

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000
Location: London
You will support a highly intelligent, fast-paced Founder operating at senior strategic level across multiple areas of the business. This is a demanding but highly rewarding role, suited to an EA who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and enjoys bringing structure to complexity. This role calls for someone proactive, confident, and comfortable taking ownership from day one.
Acting as a trusted partner, gatekeeper, and ambassador, you will help streamline priorities, anticipate challenges, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a complex, ever-changing diary across multiple business areas
- Acting as the Founder’s “eyes and ears” when they are out of the office
- Staying close to all areas of the business and proactively following up on actions
- Anticipating needs and presenting considered options and solutions
- Chasing stakeholders, tracking progress, and ensuring delivery
- Preparing high-quality materials and documentation, including board-level papers over time
- Handling confidential and private matters, with scope for this to expand if desired
- The Founder works at pace and often outside standard hours, so exceptional organisation, prioritisation, and resilience are essential.
About you:
- A career EA who genuinely loves the role and takes pride in their craft
- Ideally experienced in management consultancy or fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environments
- Bright, proactive, confident, and emotionally intelligent, with the ability to remain calm and accurate under pressure
- Someone who enjoys setting standards, thrives in organised chaos, and can impose structure without slowing momentum
