Add a double plug socket to existing ring circuit: Looking for a qualified electrician to install one new double plug socket on a wall that currently doesn’t have one. The socket needs to be positioned low on the wall (standard height, near floor level). There are existing sockets on other walls to run power from — this can be done either by chasing the wall or by running cable under the floor (the flooring will be up, so there’s easy access). The wall in question is an internal wall but forms part of the building’s external structure. We already have the socket faceplate — all other materials (cables, back box, fittings, etc.) will need to be provided. We’re pulling up the flooring and skirting boards on Tuesday 28th October - wardrobes will be delivered Wednesday, and assembled Thursday, so ideally the work should be completed before Thursday morning if running cables through the wall.
