Registered Veterinary Nurse
If you are an enthusiastic RVN looking to join a warm and friendly team, then we would love to hear from you!
About the practice:
This friendly practice in Greenwich has recently undergone a refurbishment and extension, creating a new space that includes a redesigned reception area, six consultation rooms, dedicated cat and dog wards, a dual operating theatre, and a back office.
They are a large, friendly, and supportive team made up of 6 full-time RVNs, 5 Veterinary Care Assistants, 8 Vets, and 5 Receptionists.
Several Vets within the team are working towards certificates in surgery, ophthalmology, and anaesthesia. The Head Nurse holds feline and ECC certificates, while another nurse is currently pursuing an anaesthesia certificate. They actively encourage and support all team members who wish to pursue further qualifications, whether that be a certificate or other CPD opportunities.
About the role and candidate
The nurses work four days per week, plus a 1 in 6 weekend rota. There are no out-of-hours duties with this role, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. Part-time applicants are also welcome and encouraged to get in touch.

The team rotates between theatre, clinics, hospital, prep, and nurses are encouraged to perform schedule three procedures such as stitch-ups and lump removals. Training and support are provided for nurses interested in performing these procedures.
Applications from final year Student Veterinary Nurses and newly qualified RVNs are welcome. For those in this category, a named mentor will be provided for clinical support.
