About the team and the role: We are passionate about connecting buyers and sellers around the world and creating opportunities through commerce and technology. Our responsibilities include all aspects of shipping, to empower customers through state-of-the-art ecommerce delivery experiences. We are seeking a seasoned, highly motivated and analytical Lead Product Manage r for eBay. This high-visibility role spans shipping platforms, APIs, and buyer / seller purchase experiences for our global marketplace. The ideal candidate possesses a robust technical background and extensive product management experience, is highly data-driven, and demonstrates a proven record of effective leadership and measurable impact. As a Product Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution and experimentation across customer journey to optimize for speed and costs while building trust in the marketplace. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, and other product teams to develop scalable solutions that remove complexity from sellers and reduce costs across the shipping journey. What you will accomplish :- Define and drive the product vision and strategy for Shipping Cost Management, aligned with eBay’s broader shipping strategy.
- Partner with engineers, data scientists, designers, and fellow PMs to deliver AI-powered solutions that predict item/package characteristics and recommend shipping options.
- Develop features that help sellers seamlessly adopt accurate shipping settings by automating weight/dimension entry and suggesting optimal carriers and costs.
- Establish clear product metrics, set hypotheses, and run A/B experiments to measure impact on seller adoption, cost savings, and buyer conversion.
- Collaborate with international teams to scale capabilities globally and ensure alignment with logistics partners and marketplace policies.
- Communicate product vision, progress, and findings clearly to partners and executives.
What you will bring:
- 12+ years of product management experience, ideally in ecommerce, or AI/ML-driven products.
- Strong analytical approach; able to define and track success metrics using data.
- Experience working with AI/ML technologies, LLMs and Regression Models and data science teams is required.
- Solid understanding of solving business problems using AI and ability to connect data science outcomes in meeting business goals
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for simplifying complex systems and delivering delightful customer experiences.
