Head of Operations

Quantexa
London
What We're All About.

We find, when we come together in the pursuit of excellence, great things happen. And that's how we do things at Quantexa - together. Our business is data, but our culture is collective. We're about growth - but not just the bottom line. We create a culture where people feel empowered to do their best work. We might work across continents and time zones, but that doesn't stop us from collaborating. We're connected. We celebrate our successes together, and we unite to tackle the challenges. 41% of our colleagues come from an ethnic or religious minority background. We speak over 20 languages across our 47 nationalities, creating a sense of belonging for all.

At Q, we're looking for people who share that vision. People like you. The opportunity.

Quantexa is looking for a Head of Operations to be the strategic backbone of our global growth. Reporting directly to our COO and serving as a key member of the COO management team, you'll be empowered to drive operational excellence across the entire business - from Revenue and Partner Operations to Procurement and Education Services. This is your opportunity to build and scale the systems, processes, and teams that will fuel Quantexa's future, ensuring we operate as one cohesive, high-performing organization as we tackle our next chapter of growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Revenue Operations - operational processing and reporting across Marketing, Sales and Customer Office.
  • Partner Operations - driving a Partner First approach in Delivery to support our Alliance Partners in execution of global client engagements.
  • Procurement - obtaining the goods and services a company needs to support its daily operations, including sourcing, negotiating terms, purchasing items, and keeping records of all the steps in the process.
  • Facilities - owning Quantexa's global office strategy including new office creation, real estate and lease management, Health & Safety, ESG, and office maintenance.
  • Education Services - delivering world-class academies for customers, partners, and employees, ensuring they achieve necessary accreditations for successful product deployment. Enhance learning outcomes, boost product adoption, and drive sustained revenue growth whilst ensuring continuous improvement and innovation to meet the needs of a diverse, global audience
Day-to-day activities

  • Evaluate overall business operational performance by gathering, analysing, and interpreting data and metrics.
  • Regularly evaluate business procedures against efficiency and effectiveness metrics aligned with organisational objectives and drive for high standards and constant improvements in support of scaling our business effectively.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives
  • Set strategic team goals, aligned with Quantexa's business strategy, ensuring consistent operational excellence and delivery across the team
  • Plan, monitor, and analyse key team operational metrics
  • Lead, develop and support the Operations team to drive the highest levels of individual and team effectiveness
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships across Quantexa teams to understand business requirements and enable you and your teams to make operational activity decisions aligned to business needs and strategic goals
  • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability
  • Revise and/or formulate policies together with their full implementation
  • Ensure Quantexa runs with legality and conformity to established regulations and standards e.g. ISO
  • Work closely with the People team to lead the operational team with integrity, establishing and maintaining a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment
Requirements What you'll bring. Technical skills:

  • Experience in a  Director of Operations or equivalent position across multiple operational functions, including procurement, operations, facilities, and finance
  • Leadership experience ideally from a Finance, Consultancy or FinTech industry
  • Masterful organisational, communication, people, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines.
  • Experience in developing budgets and business plans
  • Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes
  • Proven track record of working in both a strategic and hands-on role to meet the needs of a high-growth business.
