The corporate tax team wants to bring on a Corporate Tax Manager to join their expanding team. This exciting role offers not only the opportunity to provide tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse range of business clients but also a chance to mentor and manage junior team members, playing a vital role in shaping the future of the business.

Purpose of Role:

In this position, you will manage a portfolio of clients, handle all matters relating to their tax requirements, and guide junior staff members. This role will also involve assisting Directors/Partners in client work and group management. The ideal candidate will actively participate in special assignments and advisory projects when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Work:

• Oversee a portfolio of businesses, including entrepreneurial businesses and larger corporates.
• Undertake corporate tax provisioning, compliance, and advisory work for your portfolio.
• Handle a variety of business tax work, such as ad-hoc advisory, international tax matters, R&D tax credits.
• Participate in transactional and due diligence work.
• Ensure exceptional client service and maintain regular contact with the client team.

Staff Management and Development:

• Collaborate closely with Partners, demonstrating solid management skills.
• Conduct appraisals and monitor staff performance.
• Provide on-the-job training for junior staff on a one-to-one basis.
• Handle staff queries and provide guidance.
