Site Surveyor

Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Site Surveyor for our M25 J10 .

We provide high quality asset strategy, management and planning consultancy services to a wide range of public and private sector customers. We provide specialist, reliable, sustainable and creative advice for asset management planning and implementation in the UK. As a Site Surveyor , you will be tasked with supporting the Survey Project Manager in delivery of survey requirements for Balfour Beatty projects, including:

• Accountable for the delivery of the assigned surveying tasks to meet the project needs
• Responsible for safe working of themselves and others in line with the company’s procedures
• Ensuring survey deliverables are produced to the required formats and standards
• Ensuring the storing, exchange and distribution of data complies with Balfour Beatty policies
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members during their formal training courses and via on-the-job training
• Proactively Support the Survey team with their commitment to safety, quality, sustainability and integrity – always doing the right thing
• Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm
• Learn and demonstrate the Balfour Beatty Core behaviours

• Knowledge of survey software packages (NRG, Altas, Trimble, AutoCAD,LSS).
• Relevant experience in engineering surveying for highways.
• Experienced in construction survey requirements and sequences.
• Experience of settlement monitoring systems, methods and technology.
• Experience with modern survey equipment and data exchange.
• Awareness of laser scanning capabilities and applications.
• Willingness to carry out a site-based role under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Current valid CSCS Card
• Membership of professional institution (CICES, RICS)
• Full UK Driving licence
