HR Business Partner - 12 month FTC Maternity Cover
We are representing a well-established insurance company seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join the business on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This is a hands-on role supporting senior stakeholders across the employee lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on UK payroll oversight . The successful candidate will bring proven experience in managing payroll, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a trusted HR advisor to managers and leadership
- End-to-end payroll management and liaison with payroll bureaus
- Employee relations, performance management, and policy guidance
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and organisational change
- Ensuring compliance with UK employment law and internal controls
About you:
- Solid HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor experience
- Demonstrable UK payroll experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Comfortable working in a regulated, fast-paced environment
- Pragmatic, commercial, and confident engaging with stakeholders
