The Role SEO Specialist
Role Accountabilities
The digital team operates in a high growth, challenging and dynamic environment, which allows this person to have a significant impact on the success of the business.
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving inbound performance across all Charlotte Tilbury websites through effective on-page SEO, blog content optimization, and performance analysis.
You will combine creative flair with analytical thinking to deeply understand our customer, execute our SEO strategy, and continuously optimize for growth and efficiency. As a key advocate for SEO within the business, you’ll help embed best practices across teams and champion SEO as a core part of our digital strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute on-page SEO strategies, including copy optimization for category and product pages across all markets.
- Localize blog content and ensure SEO best practices are applied for markets.
- Conduct keyword research tailored to local markets and manage the end-to-end translation process for international sites.
- Drive improvements in Local Search visibility, ensuring our brand is discoverable across all relevant platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SEO into content planning and digital initiatives.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve organic traffic and engagement.
- Educate internal stakeholders on SEO principles and foster a culture of SEO-first thinking.
Reporting Relationships Head of SEO
Key Selection Criteria
·2+ years’ experience in digital and multi-channel SEO in an ecommerce environment.
·Demonstrate the ability to craft effective prompts to guide generative AI models in producing desired outputs.
·Advanced knowledge of web analytics and SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, keyword tracking and research tools such as SEM Rush/Ahrefs or similar.
·Ability to organise priorities, meet deadlines and work independently.
·Strong communication skills with a passion for digital marketing and SEO
·An excellent understanding of measuring the impact of SEO, tracking KPIs, and deriving insight.
·Knowledge of a second language (French, German, Italian, or Spanish) is preferred but not essential.
·A high level of technical understanding of how GenAi & LLM models work is desirable.
