A specialist SEN school in Ealing is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Support Worker to assist students in their learning and personal development. - Engage in professional development opportunities , including training focused on best practices in SEN support. Staying informed about current educational strategies will enhance your ability to meet the diverse needs of students effectively.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture by promoting respect, understanding, and collaboration among students and staff. Your role will help build a sense of community and belonging within the school.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in support roles within education or social care is beneficial, particularly in settings that cater to children with special educational needs. Familiarity with various learning difficulties and effective support strategies is a plus.
- An empathetic and supportive nature, combined with excellent interpersonal skills, will enable you to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Your ability to connect with students on a personal level is essential for their success.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers and contribute to student assessments and reports.
- A commitment to inclusive education and the adaptability to modify support strategies based on the unique needs of each student.
- A current and clear Enhanced DBS check is required to ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care.
