VFX Supervisor

THE ROLE

As a VFX Supervisor at Black Kite you are responsible for delivering creative excellence from pitch through to delivery. Using your deep working knowledge of the VFX industry and pipeline, you will provide creative leadership to the team working across the entire VFX pipeline, on a broad range of high end VFX projects. You will deliver outstanding VFX work on time and on budget. You will be a key part of the Pitching process, helping to win work and foster strong and lasting client relationships. You will supervise projects on-set.

Your responsibilities include:

• Create OUTSTANDING creative work
• Work with the Production team to pitch for and win projects whilst seeking opportunities to develop client relationships.
• Take ownership when pitching and bidding on projects to execute high end creative treatments.
• Lead and inspire teams of VFX artists to success across a wide range of high end VFX projects.
• Provide on-set VFX Supervision.
• Support and mentor our creative talent.
• Deliver client feedback clearly and constructively to your team.
• Deliver projects that look visually outstanding on time and on budget.
• Contribute to discussions relating to the VFX pipeline and creative workflows.
• Inspire a culture of creative innovation.
• You are a brand ambassador for BLACK KITE – attend industry events and awards shows.

Why YOU?

• You have significant experience delivering outstanding VFX work across Commercials, TV and/or film
• You have vast experience supervising teams of artists to success
• You have experience working with and delivering projects for high profile directors and clients
• You have a great understanding of the whole VFX pipeline
• You have production experience with Flame and / or Nuke
• You have significant on-set VFX Supervision experience
• You are a great problem solver and enjoy troubleshooting
• You are a team-player with a positive can-do attitude
• You are a confident communicator – both with clients and internal teams
• You are passionate about providing creative solutions and delivering creative excellence.
