2027 Technology Full Time Analyst Programme (London)

Placement and Duration:

Analysts will be pre-placed into a department within Technology and, upon completion of the 12-week training program, they will join a technology team that best matches their skills and interests. We welcome Analysts for this program in July and August.

Training Program:

Technology Analysts will participate in a global training program, which begins with a 4 week computer science foundation training course, followed by 8 weeks intensive technology training. This includes an introduction to proprietary technologies and culminates in a group project. Throughout the 12-week program, Analysts will have the opportunity to build a strong global peer network. The comprehensive skills acquired during our training programs provide the Analysts with the tools necessary for the Associate role.

Responsibilities:

Development Teams: our development teams design, develop and maintain applications used by our business units. Daily activities include meeting with clients to gather and analyze requirements. They make system design decisions, evaluating, integrating and developing necessary software, and then test and deploy applications to production. Developing high performing, low-latency electronic trading systems, and evolving complex workflows and life-cycle management capabilities are just some of the projects available for developers
Enterprise Engineering Teams: Our engineering teams build cutting edge platforms to run every aspect of our business. This includes the Firm's networks, cyber security infrastructure, cloud integration, computing hardware, databases and much more. Projects available include developing pioneering data security solutions, managing global Windows and Linux infrastructure deployments, driving cloud adoption and working with state of the art technology solutions. Our engineers work closely with internal business partners and external vendors at the leading edge of the industry.
Business Analyst Teams: Our business analysts play a key role engaging with our business units to analyze, capture, and validate requirements with technology teams in order to solve business challenges in an agile fashion. Business analysts provide technical, data analytics, data science, and process excellence skills to support up-front product and data analysis as well as end-to-end solution development

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:

You must be studying towards or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Computer Science or other STEM based subject and obtain a 2:1 overall
You possess excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork and analytical skills
Experience in the financial services sector is not required
Superior technical skills, including a strong understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows, competency in at least one programming language (e.g., C, C++, Java, Python or C#), as well as experience in object-oriented development, good comprehension of data structures, algorithms and complexity theory, strong database and scripting skills.
