The Role
As School Office Manager , you will oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the school office, ensuring administrative systems support the best possible outcomes for pupils and staff. Key responsibilities will include:
Managing and developing office systems, workflows and day-to-day priorities
Line managing administrative staff and coordinating responsibilities across the office team
Acting as a key point of contact for parents, visitors and external agencies
Supporting attendance administration and communication with families
Maintaining accurate pupil records and supporting data processes where required
Overseeing ordering, finance-related admin tasks and general office budgets (where applicable)
Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed, including visitor management and record-keeping
Supporting senior leaders with communications, reports and organisation of key events
This role requires strong organisation, excellent people skills and the confidence to manage a busy workload while maintaining high standards and a calm, welcoming environment.
The Team
You will lead a supportive admin team and work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to ensure the school’s operational systems are well managed. The school values teamwork, professionalism and a shared commitment to supporting families and pupils.

Be proactive, calm under pressure and committed to providing an excellent service
Experience in a primary school environment is welcomed but not essential for the right candidate with strong administrative leadership experience.
