Marketing Manager - East London Cluster

The role will be responsible for the marketing, social media and e-commerce function of 2 hotels – Hilton London Canary Wharf and Hilton London Tower Bridge.

A Cluster Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the annual marketing plan, driving key commercial objectives, current initiatives and relevant marketing activities relating directly to a cluster of hotels.

This position reports to the Cluster Commercial Director and supports the delivery of the commercial targets and budget for the hotels.

What will I be doing as a Cluster Marketing Manager?

• Work with the Cluster Commercial Director to set and implement the Marketing strategy, owning the marketing strategy as directed by the Cluster Commercial Director.

• The Cluster Marketing Manager will be required to make strategic decisions on the marketing activity inline with the Commercial Objectives of the hotel or region.

• Assist in creating hotel level marketing campaigns, e.g. through Hilton Elevate, produce Digital Revenue reports for Performance Reviews and Owner Meetings

• Manage multichannel online marketing including SEO, email marketing, web content, social media, and press releases.

• Ensure accurate hotel representation across quality internet sites and online travel agents

• Ensure monthly checks are carried out on main external booking websites and Hilton website, ensuring that all content is accurate, up to date and highlights the unique selling points of each hotel and current promotions.

• Coordinate photo requirements and opportunities.

• Maintain the marketing database for F&D (e.g. Seven Rooms).

• Drive F&D Marketing initiatives for any relevant F&D outlets

• Manage offline marketing including design and production of brochures, posters, and other materials.

• Provide creative tools to support departmental sales efforts (events, weddings, F&B, etc.).

• Analyse and report on KPIs, Digital Analytics.

• Manage the marketing budget and ensure ROI.

• Proactively develop and maintain effective working relationships with all hotel team members and managers, as well as external customers, local venues and partners

• Ensure hotels are fully brand compliant with Hilton brand standards and support as appropriate with collateral and merchandising through strict compliance to brand standards in all artwork/graphic design/logos etc.

• Participate in monthly Commercial Meetings and lead the marketing conversation and agenda

What are we looking for?

• A degree in Marketing or Hotel Management / or Experience of working in a similar marketing position in the hospitality sector
• Excellent communication skills in all areas of writing, listening and speaking English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to include strong leadership, cultural sensitivity
• Ability to relate to the marketing world and adapt to changing priorities quickly and with ease
• Professional approach and well-groomed at all times
• Creatively minded and has a thirst to work in marketing for the hospitality industry
• Demonstrated self-starter with excellent attention to detail
• Resourcefulness, customer focused and results oriented
