After-school Nanny in Herne Hill, London, Job ID J19FCDR
An After-school Nanny is needed by this wonderful family based in Herne Hill, London to help them in looking after their two school-aged children. An ideal candidate will be someone energetic, proactive, focused on developmental stages and easygoing who can carry out all typical childcare duties. The role includes engaging with the children and preparing their meals, while being mindful of their allergies as the oldest has allergies to dairy, sesame, and nuts (excluding peanut and almond), and the younger is allergic to eggs. The family frequently uses a cargo bike for local transportation, so the candidate should be comfortable using one as needed.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 20 hours per week
Duties include:
- School pick up
- Helping with homework
- Scheduling and getting bags/kits ready for the next day
- Providing supervision and constant care to children
- Planning and organising age related activities
- Stimulating children to be active
- Implementing daily routines
- Attending any appointments or social events with the children
- Playing with the children and taking them to the park
- Light cleaning related to the children
- Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
They are looking for someone who can start in August or September 2025 and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
