Conflicts Lawyer - Qualified Leading global law firm
Multiple locations across England
Joining a collaborative team who are genuinely supported and trusted by the wider firm you will work with the wider General Counsel team to shape the firms Conflicts processes, educate partners and lawyers and support the firm in staying compliant. This is a key role in the firms growth, advising on new client terms, delivering training, getting involved in company wide projects. There's a great opportunity to truly make an impact
- Be the go-to person for tricky conflicts questions and sensitive client information issues. You’ll be trusted to give clear, confident advice when it matters most.
- Supervising high-risk and escalated conflict checks with the Business Intake Team.
- Take the lead when internal investigations come up, or when there’s a professional claim with conflicts angles
- Reviewing and advising on bespoke client terms related to conflicts.
- Helping shape and enhance conflicts processes, technology, and policy implementation across all international offices.
- Delivering training to fee earners and the conflicts team.
- Contributing to wider firm-wide risk, governance, and compliance initiatives.
About you?
- A qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working within conflicts in a large international law firm environment.
- Strong technical understanding of conflicts of interest (including US Conflicts)
- Commercial awareness, analytical skills
- Comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders
- You’re collaborative, resilient and genuinely comfortable navigating grey areas and pushing for better ways of working.
